Another year has passed
And we are still friends
From a classroom shared
Of innocence and uncertainty
Now full of mirth and mischief
Provoking, abusing, teasing
Full of unsolicited advice
Some have left
But never from our hearts
Another year to come
How can I tolerate
More crap from morning to night
To put the world right
Make others feel better
To ease our discomfort
And keep the family going
To celebrate birthdays
And homecoming in 2019
Remind us everyday
Is a life embraced
Of friends to amuse
