She’s back!

We are so glad
our Wendy’s back
She’s back I have been told

She’s not a lass
she does confess
But I don’t think she’s so old

She looks the part
She breaks our hearts
We love her long black tresses

She loves to tease
how much we miss
Her skimpy summer dresses

She is footloose
She loves to Cruise
To Baltic destinations

And when she’s gone
We’re all forlorn
We’d join her without hesitation

She imagines though
that her perfect beau
Would make her girlfriends drool

Because she could select
those qualities perfect
from the boys she’s met in school

And those separate bits
would provide her a kit
to assemble a composite perfection

But alas it seems
That’s not her dream
to love an artificial invention

So the question we pose:
Who do you suppose
Is the one who will bring her bliss?

It’s not a composite, boys
She’s made her choice
Her perfect beau is Chris!
