Opinions are divided
Supporters and critics abound
What one sees as one-sided
Others wholeheartedly applaud
The contenders were controversial and flawed
If only ‘perfect’ candidates were available
If only we could be awed
Maybe the whole world is so unstable
Cause we are sinners all
That’s the way Christians think, anyway
Believe in the Lord, pray!
