Death
April 7, 2017
IT comes in the stealth of the night
In the bright sunny day
It comes for one it comes for all
Big and small
Young and grey
It comes suddenly out of nowhere
No matter how prepared
The face of death we stare in despair
For some it comes too soon, too quick
No time to say farewell, goodbye
For others it lingers long
It seems forever though the end is nigh
Death does not discriminate nor favour
The leveler of Man
The rich, the poor, young and old
For every man is but dust and sand
When death knocks on the door
The departed enters another shore
Unknown to him he leaves sadness and grief
A vacuum, emptiness, loneliness… pray it will be brief
