A Long Walk in Melbourne
September 18, 2018
As I wander about the countryside
A glorious scene of daffodils caught my eye
They gently touch my heart and soul
And Wordsworth s lines are slowly retold.
As I walk along the streets
The shop counters with countless pastries
Call out loudly for my attention
And I succumb to life’s great temptation.
So while the waĺk has done me good
Cancelled out the calories of all that food
I finally reach my homely base
A happily satiated man of taste.
