Fishing for room mate
June 29, 2016
I am 65 and no girlfriend
Shame on you room mate
For not teaching me how to fish
In a pond full of love
But its not too late
To pick up a rod
And throw a lifeline into the water
For surely something will bite
If not a mermaid
At least a catfish with whiskers
For beggars can’t be choosy
At this time of our lives
To love anything that comes along
And be thankful that you caught something
To keep you warm
On lonely nights
Until the morning
When you wake up to a nightmare
