A myriad of colours flying high
Bursting forth in brilliant hues
Sparkling rubies and shining jewels
Stretched out on a vast canvas
A psychedelic hodge-podge
On and on it flows
To the crowd’s cries below
A carnival, a celebration
Joy, laughter and wonderment
All too soon it’s over
The last spark, the final glow
