I shall remember

When the sun peeps thru the curtains
To warmly caress my skin
To wake me from night’s slumber
I shall remember my Creator

When the wind blows gently
Oft times strongly, wildly
Lifting me higher n higher
I shall remember His Spirit

When there’s food on the table
To satisfy my hunger
Water to quench my thirst
I shall remember my Provider

When I fall sick or grow weary
Disaster strikes, calamity
And sorrow overcome me
I shall remember my Comforter

Once again night comes
And stars and  moon shines
thru the darkness
With thankgiving and gratefulness
I shall remember my Maker.
