Where old friends meet
In Wendy’s living room
A reunion so sweet
Memories we relish
45 years ago
Old stories we cherish
The years have just flowed
Exquisite cuisine
Labour of love
A joyous Din
A bonding is birthed
Whiskey freely flowed
Even songs abound
With one another we joked
As we unwound
As if on cue
The time has come
To bid adieu
Our senses are numb
Forever in my memory
And etched in my heart
Is this moment of glee
Sigh! It’s so hard to part
