Too hot too hot
Come on KL he gasped with a snort
Another 8 km I know you can do it
My strength is spent, I can’t do it. Oh shit
With a shudder, he mustered on the turbo
With great speed he rounded the corner and lo
A lovely lass pedaling furiously just ahead.
I must I must overtake that pretty maid
I would that the story could end well
But my good friend lost to the fairer sex and fell…
Not in love surely but on the road
Pride dented, without dignity like a pregnant toad.
The moral of the story listen to this Old Sage
Is to be a wee bit mindful of your age.
Though we know feint hearts never won fair maidens
We your dear friends are deeply concerned that you don’t take a short cut to heaven.
