Meet each other in a wok
Brought together in a cacophony
By the most unlikely of vegetables
The moringa drumstick
In a curry stew
Concocted by Chinese cooks
Using Indian ingredients
In a kitchen somewhere
Between China and India
And the result
A liquorice enhancer
Or bindi
A confection of colour and smell
The flavour bursting
By sucking out the marrow
A taste so rojak
So wild
So singular
So glorious
It can only be Malaysian
