Youth /Age

When you are young and immature
Of feelings and emotions  not sure
Is it love or infatuations
Secret wishes and intuitions
It is all so myterious
This growing up business..

When you are old n more mature
Your needs n desires you are sure
You know exactly what you need
Is it not your ambition indeed
To have the best of everything
To be a queen perhaps or even a king?

But here on earth we stand and breathe
Feet firmly planted on this earthly heath
Nothing comes of  what we plan
Our destiny is in God’s hand
To which I fully comprehend
Amen
